RideSenior Partners with the TapRetire Community Choice Award 2026

RideSenior is proud to officially support and participate in the TapRetire Community Choice Award 2026, a nationwide initiative created to recognize and celebrate retirement homes, nursing care homes, assisted living communities, home care providers, and senior support services that bring comfort, dignity, safety, and happiness to older adults across Canada.

As a senior-focused transportation service dedicated to helping older adults maintain independence and quality of life, RideSenior believes that every senior deserves to live in an environment where they feel respected, cared for, and valued. Through this partnership with TapRetire, RideSenior hopes to help families, caregivers, and communities discover and recognize outstanding senior care providers that truly make a difference every day.

The TapRetire Community Choice Award 2026 is designed to create a transparent and community-driven recognition platform where seniors, family members, caregivers, staff, and local communities can share their voices and support the retirement homes and senior care services they trust most. Unlike traditional awards that are based solely on advertising or sponsorships, the TapRetire Community Choice Award focuses on genuine community engagement, public feedback, and real experiences from families and seniors.

The program welcomes participation from retirement homes, nursing care homes, assisted living communities, memory care centers, home care providers, and other senior support organizations across Canada. Communities from major cities and smaller regions alike are encouraged to participate, allowing seniors and families throughout the country to discover trusted care providers in their local areas.

In Alberta, communities including Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, and Grande Prairie are joining the program to showcase the dedication and compassion of their senior care providers. In British Columbia, cities such as Vancouver, Victoria, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, and Kelowna continue to build strong senior communities focused on comfort, wellness, and independence.

The initiative also extends to Prince Edward Island through Charlottetown, Newfoundland and Labrador through St. John’s, and Nova Scotia through Halifax, where many local senior communities have built meaningful environments that help seniors remain socially connected and supported.

In Ontario, some of Canada’s largest and most diverse communities are participating, including Toronto, Ottawa, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, London, Markham, and Vaughan. These cities represent a growing demand for quality senior living environments and compassionate care services that adapt to the evolving needs of older adults.

Quebec also plays a major role in the initiative, with participation from Montreal, Quebec City, Laval, Gatineau, Longueuil, and Sherbrooke. Across these communities, many organizations continue to develop innovative ways to support aging populations while preserving dignity, independence, and emotional well-being.

The TapRetire Community Choice Award 2026 further includes participation from Manitoba through Winnipeg and Brandon, Saskatchewan through Saskatoon and Regina, and New Brunswick through Fredericton, Saint John, and Moncton. Each region contributes its own unique approach to senior support and care, helping build stronger and more compassionate communities throughout Canada.

RideSenior believes transportation is an important part of healthy and independent aging. Many seniors rely on safe and reliable transportation to attend medical appointments, social events, wellness activities, family gatherings, and everyday errands. By supporting the TapRetire Community Choice Award, RideSenior hopes to contribute not only transportation services, but also awareness and recognition for organizations that genuinely improve the lives of seniors.

The partnership between RideSenior and TapRetire reflects a shared mission: creating a future where seniors feel connected, supported, and valued within their communities. Both organizations believe that senior care should go beyond basic services. It should focus on preserving happiness, emotional well-being, social connection, and dignity throughout every stage of aging.

RideSenior encourages families, caregivers, seniors, and local communities across Canada to participate in the TapRetire Community Choice Award 2026 by supporting and voting for the retirement homes, nursing care homes, assisted living communities, and home care providers that have made a positive impact in their lives.

Together, RideSenior and TapRetire hope to build a stronger and more connected senior community across Canada, one that celebrates compassion, recognizes excellence, and preserves meaningful moments of happiness for older adults every day.
