RideSenior Launches Three Care Plans: Medical Care Plan, Dialysis Care Plan, and Cancer Care Plan

RideSenior is introducing three specialized transportation care plans designed to support seniors, families, caregivers, and healthcare organizations with recurring medical transportation needs. These new plans include the Medical Care Plan, Dialysis Care Plan, and Cancer Care Plan. Each plan is designed to make healthcare transportation easier, safer, and more predictable for people who need reliable rides to medical appointments, treatment centres, clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and follow-up care.

Medical Care Plan

The Medical Care Plan is designed for seniors and adults who need regular transportation to medical appointments throughout the year. This plan supports visits to family doctors, specialists, physiotherapy clinics, rehabilitation programs, diagnostic imaging centres, laboratories, blood work appointments, and follow-up visits after surgery or treatment. Instead of arranging a separate ride before every appointment, families can build one personalized transportation plan that covers recurring medical visits with dependable door-to-door assistance.

The Medical Care Plan includes a minimum of 6 scheduled appointments and applies a 5% Care Plan discount. Pricing is calculated based on one-way distance, number of appointments, applicable tax, and selected payment method.

Dialysis Care Plan

The Dialysis Care Plan is built for patients who require recurring rides to and from dialysis treatment. Because dialysis appointments often happen several times per week, transportation must be consistent, punctual, and easy to manage. This plan supports recurring dialysis transportation, flexible treatment-day scheduling, short wait and return service, comfortable rides, door-to-door assistance, and family notifications.

The Dialysis Care Plan includes a minimum of 12 scheduled appointments and provides a 10% Care Plan discount, making it the strongest discount among RideSenior’s three care plans.

Cancer Care Plan

The Cancer Care Plan is designed for patients attending chemotherapy, radiation therapy, oncology appointments, treatment follow-up visits, and ongoing cancer care. Cancer treatment can involve frequent appointments over weeks or months, and this plan helps reduce the stress of arranging transportation each time. RideSenior focuses on compassionate support, careful scheduling, and family updates so patients and loved ones can focus more on treatment and recovery.

The Cancer Care Plan includes a minimum of 6 scheduled appointments and applies a 5% Care Plan discount.

Transparent Pricing

RideSenior Care Plans use a distance-based pricing system. For one-way distance, trips up to 5 km start at CAD $79, trips up to 10 km are CAD $99, trips up to 20 km are CAD $119, trips up to 30 km are CAD $139, trips up to 40 km are CAD $159, and trips up to 50 km are CAD $189. Distances over 50 km require a custom quote.

After the base price is calculated, the system applies the plan discount, multiplies the price by the number of appointments, adds applicable provincial tax, and shows the final total. Customers can pay by e-transfer with no processing fee or by secure card payment with a small processing fee.

Conclusion

With the launch of the Medical Care Plan, Dialysis Care Plan, and Cancer Care Plan, RideSenior is creating a more organized and compassionate way to manage medical transportation. These plans help seniors stay connected to essential healthcare, help families reduce stress, and help healthcare providers support patients with more reliable transportation coordination.
