RideSenior would like to share an important reminder with all RideSenior Pro Partners regarding the booking confirmation process.
When you receive a new booking email from RideSenior and click the “Confirm this booking” button, this means that you are confirming your availability to take the ride. However, this does not mean that the booking is fully confirmed yet.
A booking is only officially confirmed after the customer has completed the required payment. Until the customer payment is completed, the booking should still be considered pending. Please do not contact the customer, travel to the pickup location, or begin the service before receiving the final confirmation from RideSenior.
After a RideSenior Pro Partner clicks the confirm button, RideSenior will notify the customer and request payment. Once the customer completes the payment, RideSenior will send the partner a final confirmation email with the full customer details and service information. At that point, the booking is officially confirmed and ready to be completed.
To help prevent misunderstanding, RideSenior has also added an additional notice after the partner clicks “Confirm this booking.” This extra message will clearly remind the partner one more time that clicking confirm only confirms availability, and that the booking will only become official after customer payment is completed.
This update is very important because some partners may think that clicking confirm means they should immediately start the ride. RideSenior wants to make sure every partner understands the process clearly so that no one spends time, gas, or effort before a booking is fully confirmed and paid by the customer.
This policy helps protect both RideSenior Pro Partners and customers. It ensures that partners only begin service for confirmed and paid bookings, while customers receive clear and professional communication before their ride is finalized.
