RideSenior Updates Waiting Time Fee Across the System Effective April 16, 2026

RideSenior would like to inform customers, families, and partners that, effective April 16, 2026, the waiting time fee across the system has been updated to provide a clearer and more consistent standard for all bookings. As RideSenior continues to serve seniors with safe, reliable, and professionally coordinated transportation, it is important that service policies remain transparent and easy to understand for everyone involved.

Starting April 16, 2026, the waiting time fee will be charged at $10 per 30 minutes. This policy applies across the RideSenior system and is intended to cover situations in which a driver is required to remain on standby beyond the expected service time. Waiting time may occur at hospitals, clinics, medical offices, residences, senior living communities, rehabilitation centers, or other pickup and drop-off locations where delays are outside the normal scheduled flow of the trip.

To keep billing simple and consistent, RideSenior will apply a rounding method based on 30-minute blocks. This means the waiting time will be rounded up to the next 30-minute interval once the waiting period has begun. For example, if the actual waiting time is 1 to 30 minutes, the fee will be $10. If the waiting time is 31 to 60 minutes, the fee will be $20. If the waiting time is 61 to 90 minutes, the fee will be $30. This approach helps create a fair and standardized system that is easy for customers and partners to understand in advance.

This update reflects RideSenior’s ongoing effort to improve operational clarity across its transportation network. Senior transportation often involves time-sensitive environments such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, dialysis centers, specialist appointments, and senior care facilities, where delays can happen unexpectedly. A clear waiting time policy helps ensure that drivers are compensated fairly for their time while allowing RideSenior to continue delivering dependable service throughout its platform.

For customers and families, this update also provides greater transparency at the time of booking. Knowing the waiting time rate in advance makes it easier to plan trips, estimate total service costs, and decide whether a one-way or round-trip booking is the most suitable option. For partners and drivers, the updated fee structure supports smoother trip management and reinforces a more predictable system across all cities and service areas where RideSenior operates.

RideSenior remains committed to building a senior transportation experience that combines professionalism, compassion, and convenience. By clearly defining the waiting time fee as $10 per 30 minutes with rounding applied by 30-minute increments, the company aims to maintain fairness, reduce confusion, and support better service for seniors and their families.

As demand for specialized mobility support continues to grow in markets such as Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, RideSenior continues to strengthen its service standards and operational policies. This update is part of that broader commitment to quality and consistency, ensuring that every booking is handled with clear expectations and dependable support.
